July 2023 was famously a “hot one” in Orlando, with temperatures frequently hitting the mid-90s.  However, it was also a unique time in the parks; despite being the peak of summer, many visitors noted that crowds were surprisingly manageable compared to previous years, making it a great window for a large celebration.  The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the massive gathering at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT’s Italy pavilion.  Bringing 40+ members of the Disney community together to celebrate Preston’s birthday is no small task.  Via Napoli is one of the few spots in EPCOT that can handle that kind of energy, likely utilizing their long “communal” style tables.  It’s the ultimate way to fuel up before heading back out for a ride on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.  The dining lineup covered some of the most iconic spots across the property: Tusker House, Boathouse, Liberty Tree, Tony’s and Boma.  Visiting all four parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom) in July requires a serious strategy.  It’s rare to get 40+ people from the community in one place for a birthday—that’s a testament to Preston and the community you’ve built!
