December 2023: WDW / Magical Night of Hope Photo Gallery

This trip covered all four theme parks, but the heart of the visit was centered around the holiday spirit and supporting a great cause at Give Kids The World Village.  Pete, Preston, Monorail Mollie – Jen, and Casey joined the community on December 9, 2023, for this special fundraising concert.  It’s an intimate event dedicated to raising money for GKTW, the non-profit “storybook” resort that provides cost-free vacations to critically ill children and their families.  Hosted by Cory Meets World, the night featured performances from fan favorites like Yehaa Bob Jackson and appearances by local icons like Paging Mr. Morrow.  It’s always a powerful reminder of the “Night of Hope” the Village provides year-round.  The group saw the legendary Neil Patrick Harris, who narrated the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT from December 6–8, 2023.  As one of the most popular narrators, NPH brought his signature energy and reverence to the retelling of the Christmas story, backed by a 50-piece orchestra and a massed choir.  2023 featured the classic Grand Floridian Gingerbread House (celebrating its 24th year) and the life-sized Gingerbread Baby Giraffe and Zebra at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  From the massive icon tree on Main Street U.S.A. to the mid-century modern kitsch of Hollywood Studios, the 2023 decor was in full swing.
