The Disney YouTube Series of Recognition (DYSR) is a virtual Hall of Fame dedicated to honoring outstanding individuals within the Disney social media community. Its mission is to celebrate creators, supporters, moderators, and community members who exemplify class, character, creativity, and a steadfast commitment to uplifting others.
Character Pairings: Each inductee is paired with a Disney character partner that symbolizes their unique personality, creativity, and contributions to the Disney universe.
Peer-Voted Honors: What makes the DYSR truly meaningful is that inductees are chosen by their peers.
Members from previous classes vote to determine the next class, representing the highest honor the community can bestow.
Special Distinctions: In addition to standard inductions, special high honors are awarded to recognize military service, exceptional leadership, and monumental accomplishments.
Annual Themes: Each induction class is built around a unique theme tied to the storytelling and magic of the Disney universe.
The DYSR induction process takes place annually, with nominations opening in November and formal presentation ceremonies held in December.
The ceremonies feature presentation announcements and reception-style shows designed to celebrate the inductees and their impact.
The entire event is fueled by positivity, appreciation, empowerment, and collaboration.
