The Disney YouTube Series of Recognition proudly welcomes John, known throughout the community via Spaceship Ears and his own channel Grand and Miraculous, into the DYSR—honoring his deep Disney roots, generosity of time, and consistent service across the community.

Disney history runs directly through John’s family.

His father helped create and build Spaceship Earth, one of the most iconic structures in all of Walt Disney World.

Adding to that legacy, John’s grandfather is permanently honored with a window on Main Street, U.S.A., a distinction reserved for those whose contributions helped shape the magic from the very beginning.

Carrying that legacy forward, John has become a consistent and trusted moderator across many channels, graciously giving his time to support creators throughout the community.

He is always willing to help, actively participates in community events, and is known for being dependable, kind, and steady—often working behind the scenes to ensure others shine.

Hailing from the Northwest United States, John proudly brings that hometown pride with him as a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan, reflecting the same loyalty and team-first mindset he shows within the Disney community.

His character tie-in to Casey at the Bat is a meaningful reflection of who John is.

Like Casey, John represents classic Americana, perseverance, and heart—a reminder that legacy, effort, and showing up for the team matter just as much as the spotlight moments.
