Disney YouTube Series of Recognition (DYSR) The Disney YouTube Series of Recognition (DYSR) was created as a virtual Hall of Fame dedicated to honoring outstanding individuals within the Disney social media community. The purpose of the DYSR is to recognize creators, supporters, moderators, and community members who exemplify class, character, creativity, and a strong commitment to uplifting the Disney YouTube community. Each inducted member of the DYSR is paired with a Disney character partner, symbolizing their creativity, personality, and contribution to the Disney universe. This unique connection celebrates both the individual and the magic that inspires the community they help build. What makes the DYSR especially meaningful is that the inductees are selected by their peers. Members who have already been enshrined in previous classes cast votes to determine the next class of inductees. Being voted in by fellow members of the community represents the highest honor the recognition can offer. In addition to standard inductions, special high honors may also be awarded to recognize military service, leadership, and exceptional accomplishments. Each class is built around a unique theme that ties into important and beloved elements of the Disney universe. These themed classes help celebrate the creativity and storytelling that make Disney special. The DYSR induction process takes place annually, with nominations typically occurring in November and the formal presentations and ceremonies held in December. The ceremonies feature presentation announcements and reception-style shows that celebrate the inductees and their contributions to the community. The entire event is rooted in positivity, appreciation, and empowerment. The DYSR is also made possible through the support and collaboration of many talented members of the community. Appreciation is also extended to Dads and Nik of Nik and Clare for producing and posting video content honoring the inductees on their YouTube channel. Together, the Disney YouTube Series of Recognition continues to celebrate the people who help make the Disney creator community such a magical and supportive place.
