Pete McDevitt is a passionate YouTube content creator, community builder, and enhancer whose life story is rooted in resilience, family, sports, and the magic of Disney.
A die-hard supporter of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens, Pete’s love for sports runs deep. He has visited more than 20 Major League Baseball parks across the country, made pilgrimages to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and is a National Champion adult men’s Super C softball player and coach. Throughout his athletic and professional career, he has earned multiple awards and recognitions for excellence and leadership.
Pete is also a proud Disney Annual Passholder whose love for storytelling, nostalgia, and park history fuels multiple creative trips to Walt Disney World each year. His passion for Disney and sports ultimately came together to form his YouTube channel — a platform built on positivity, connection, and inspiration.
But the channel’s origin is rooted in a life-altering moment.
In September 2019, during a Disney trip for a military event, Pete encountered a severe ankle infection that rapidly spread throughout his body. The infection placed him in a 48-day coma and led to nearly 500 days of hospitalization. As a result, Pete underwent the amputation of both legs and his left hand.
That moment could have ended his story. Instead, it transformed it.
Having spent his civilian career supporting all branches of the United States military — with coverage spanning bases from Maine to North Carolina — Pete has always believed in service, resilience, and standing strong through adversity. His own battle became the catalyst for a new mission.
His YouTube channel is now a powerful outlet for continuing his love of Disney and sports while helping others pursue their goals. Through uplifting content, live streams, interviews, sports coverage, and community-building events, Pete encourages positivity, perseverance, and belief — no matter the challenge.
Above all, he is most proud to be a father to Kayla, Amber, and Preston — the heart behind everything he does.
